Ever since I was a little girl, baking has been a passion of mine!  My love for baking started at the the age of five years old, when I got my first baking essentials.  From that point on, I tried to get in the kitchen whenever I could.  I started baking for my friends and family and they couldn't get enough of it! With all of the overwhelming support, I decided to start my own business, Sweet Kathys, in 2010. I started off doing graduation parties, wedding showers, etc. Over the past 10 years, my business has grown tremendously.  Not only do I do smaller events, I also create custom dessert tables for weddings as well.  

I recently graduated from Oakland University with a degree in Human Resources, but pursuing my business dream has become my passion.  I am so excited to be able to do what I love.  I still have a lot of growing to do, but I am excited about the future! 

One thing I love most about my business is that I get to be a part of people's special day! It could be graduating from high school or college to celebrating an engagement, wedding, or even a new child! I love to see the joy that I can bring into these events, large or small! I love sitting down with my clients, getting to know them, and creating the perfect desserts for their event.  I offer unparalleled customer service, delicious desserts, creativity, and beautiful dessert tables.  

All of my desserts are made from scratch with top quality ingredients and local Michigan products. Each order is baked in small batches and is customized to your event.  I love making desserts that not only look good, but also taste delicious!
